 Dr. Granberg attended Kansas State University and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Food and Nutritional Science. She completed her medical training at the University of Kansas Medical School. She was awarded the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation, which is given to female medical students in the top ten percent of their graduating medical school class. She completed her family medicine residency at Goppert (Baptist Medical Center) in Kansas City, Missouri in 2001.
Dr. Granberg enjoys the challenges that family medicine offers, including pediatric and adolescent health, women’s care, preventive medicine, obesity, skin care and aesthetics, and management of chronic health conditions. Dr. Granberg wants patients to take an active part in their health care and will work with them to tackle health problems and manage chronic health conditions.
After serving as the campus physician for William Jewell College for nearly ten years, Dr. Granberg now acts as a volunteer medical liason/consultant for the college. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Metropolitan Medicine, Missouri State Medical Association and the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. She is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Granberg enjoys time with family, photography, reading and time at the lake. She is married to Bryce and they have two children, Amber and Chase. |
